Dr. Melissa Quintana was born and raised in Miami. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant when she was 18 years old, when she fell in love with the field. She continued her studies after earning her bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry, earning a master's degree in biomedical science. She then decided to stay close to home and pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry in South Florida.

Dr. Quintana is dedicated to Advanced Continuing Education, attending seminars across the United States to further her knowledge in the areas of cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation. Along with Dr Michael Apa and Larry Rosenthal, she completed numerous advanced cosmetic courses with Aesthetic Advantage Inc at the Rosenthal Institute at New York University. She's also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she's going through a five-year accreditation process. She is also a member of the Miami Dade Dental Society, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, as well as other South Florida study groups.
